Police Report: Theft, Vandalism, DWI

The following criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of vandalism to a vehicle in the area of Massage Envy in Shrewsbury Plaza on Nov. 8. The victim reported that an unknown substance was thrown on her vehicle, causing paint damage.

Patrolman Tyler Fox is investigating.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Marshall’s in Shrewsbury Plaza on Nov. 5. The victim reported that her wallet was taken and checks that were in it were cashed.

Patrolman Mary Ellen Rumola took the report.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Visionworks in Shrewsbury Plaza on Nov. 2. The victim reported that someone he knows was stealing checks.

Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.

Arrests

 

• Timothy Ballard, 22, of Middletown, was arrested on Nov. 7 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) in the area of Shrewsbury Plaza by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Enrique Cosme-Cruz, 52, of Asbury Park, was arrested on Nov. 3 on a contempt of court warrant (COC) in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue by Patrolman Tracy Polk.

• Jamie Wineriter, 44, of Clifton, was arrested on Nov. 4 on a contempt of court warrant (COC) at Shrewsbury Police Headquarters by Patrolman Tracy Polk.
