Police Report: Theft by Deception, Contempt

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incident

• There was a report of theft by deception in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Sept. 28. The victim reported that an unknown person used an account to make fraudulent purchases totaling $479.85.

Patrolman Matthew Clark is investigating.

Arrests/Contempt of Court 

• Quadirah M. Banks, 31, of New Brunswick, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Oct. 20 on a contempt of court warrant by Sgt. Jessica Boyd.

• James Gulizio, 74, of Monmouth Beach, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Oct. 19 on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• James Brockington, 49, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Oct. 18 on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Dylan Bulinsky, 25, of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Oct. 18 on a contempt of court warrant by Detective Sgt. James Ramsey.
