Police Report: Theft By Deception, Burglary, Contempt

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of theft by deception in the area of Williamsburg Drive on Nov. 29. The victim reported that someone attempted to pass a fraudulent check.

Patrolman Mary Ellen Rumola is investigating.

• There was a report of a burglary from a vehicle in the area of White Road on Nov. 26. The victim reported that someone removed property valued at $400 from an unlocked vehicle.

Patrolman Matthew Clark is investigating.

Arrests/Contempt of Court

• Vu H. Pham, 34, of Eatontown, was arrested on Dec. 2 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue by Patrolman Angel Marrero.

• Meghan E. Bykow, 26, of Middletown, was arrested on Dec. 2 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warranty Sgt. Jessica Boyd.

• Kelly Avery, 46, of West Long Branch, was arrested on Dec. 2 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Sgt. Jessica Boyd.

• Ryan V. Primiano, 35, of Brick, was arrested on Dec. 2 in the area of Broad Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Patricia A. Rainey, 25, of Neptune, was arrested on Dec. 1 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.

• Jamal Lawrence, 24, of Tinton Falls, was arrested on Nov. 29 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro.

• Leah M. Adams, 25, of Toms River, was arrested on Nov. 27 in the area of Broad Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

• Qualek Z. Dotts, 20, of Red Bank, was arrested on Nov. 25 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Tyler Fox.
