Police Report: Theft, Criminal Mischief, Fraud

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• There was a report of a shoplifting in the area of Staples Plaza on March 18. Two males allegedly entered the victim’s store and attempted to steal liquor bottles.

Patrolman Derek Myers investigated.

• There was a report of fraud on March 18. The victim reported that an acquaintance used her business address and personal information to open two credit cards.

Sgt. Adam Cerminaro is investigating.

• There was a report of criminal mischief in the area of World Jeep on March 21. A vehicle in the parking lot was allegedly vandalized overnight.

Patrolman Mary Ellen Rumola is investigating.

• A shoplifting was reported in the area of The Grove on March 21. A male allegedly stole an unknown amount of merchandise.

Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro is investigating.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Shrewsbury Plaza on March 22. Paint, valued at $1,400, was reported stolen.

Contempt of Court Arrests

• Robyn Friedman, 41, of Tinton Falls, was arrested on March 20 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

• Corinne McQuillan, 19, of Red Bank, was arrested on March 23 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Patricia Gandy, 53, of Long Branch, was arrested on March 23 at police headquarters on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Derek Myers.
