Police Report: Theft, Criminal Mischief, DWI

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred on Jan. 30 on Central Avenue. The victim reported that nine parked vehicles were damaged by windows being smashed.

Patrolman Benjamin Springer took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred on Jan. 31 in the Galleria parking lot. The victim reported that a parked vehicle was keyed.

Patrolman Ashon Lovick took the report.

• A theft was reported to have occurred on Leighton Avenue sometime between Jan. 22 and 24. The victim reported that someone stole medication from the console of their parked car.

Patrolman Shane Dengel took the report.

Arrests

• Bethany Evans, 37, of Red Bank, was arrested on Jan. 31 in the area of Bridge Avenue and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Officer Darren McConnell.

• Angelo Kozioil, 24, of Sayreville, was arrested on Jan. 31 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue  and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia by Officer Darren McConnell.

• Maxwell Fisher, 26, of Old Bridge, was arrested on Jan. 30 in the area of West Front Street and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman George Travostino.

Contempt of Court

Janae Hendrex, 26, of Red Bank, was arrested on Jan. 28 in the area of E. Newman Springs Road and by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto on a contempt of court (COC) warrant.

• Rashiem Phelps, 32, of Red Bank, was arrested on Feb. 3 in the area of Monmouth Street by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt on a contempt of court (COC) warrant.

• Elvis Sanchez, 20, of Long Branch, was arrested on Feb. 3 in the area of Monmouth Street by Patrolman Tanner Shea on a contempt of court (COC) warrant.

• Lorenzo Aberasturi, 28, of Neptune, was arrested on Feb. 1 in the area of Monmouth Street by Patrolman Patrick Kennedy on a contempt of court (COC) warrant.
