Police Report: Theft, Criminal Mischief, Assault, Harassment, Disorderly, DWI

The following March and April criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• The theft of several miscellaneous things, including the vehicle’s owner manual, from a parked vehicle in the area of Brown Place was reported on April 23.

• The theft of a black Velcro wallet containing several credit cards and $20 in cash from a vehicle in the area of Ambassador Drive was reported on April 23.

• The theft of a blue GT mountain bike, valued at $800, from a driveway of a residence in the area of Bridge Avenue was reported on April 22.

• The theft of $50 in mixed change and a gold PBA card from a vehicle in the area of Bridge Avenue was reported on April 18.

Patrolman Froilan Hernandez took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of E. Front Street was reported on April 3. A dead bolt lock on a rear door of a business was reported to have been tampered with. No other damages were reported.

Patrolman Thomas Doremus took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on April 2. A window pane was reported to have been shattered. The damage was estimated at $500.

Patrolman Darren M. McConnell took the report.

• The theft of a delivered Amazon package containing three masks, valued at $90, from a front porch in the area of McLaren Street was reported on March 21.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Harding Road was reported on March 17. Two tires on a parked vehicle, valued at $300 each, were reported to have been slashed.

Patrolman Patrick Kennedy took the report.

• The theft on March 12 of a rear license plate from a vehicle in the area of West Front Street was reported.

Patrolman Shane Dengel took the report.

• The theft of two cell phones — an iPhone 11, valued at $1,000 and an iPhone 6 plus, valued at $600 — were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the area of Boat Club Drive on March 5.

Arrests

• Trinidad Mendez-Romero, 29, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of W. Sunset Avenue on April 29 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) and contempt of court by Patrolman Darren M. McConnell.

• Pablo Sanchez-Gonzalez, 28, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Hudson Avenue on April 27 and charged with criminal mischief by Patrolman Tanner Shea.

• Jose Orzuna-Hernandez, 42, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of E. Bergen Place on April 26 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Cevin Albert.

• Angel Monge, 44, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on April 26 and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose by Detective John Camarca.

• Matthew Loughlin, 52, of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Coopers Bridge on April 23 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman George Travostino.

• Jason Sweeting, 33, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Riverview Plaza on April 8 and charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing the administration of law, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and aggravated assault with bodily fluids by Patrolman Stanley Balmer.

• Najahee Tyler, 24, of Asbury Park, was arrested in the area of Linden Place on March 15 and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• Antonio Rodriguez-Hernandez, 35, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Leighton Avenue on March 14 and charged with hindering apprehension by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• Darnell Isaac, 46, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Herbert Street on April 3 and charged with simple assault, harassment and contempt of court by Patrolman George Travostino.

• Brendan Bauman, 22, of West Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on March 15 and charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing the administration of law by Patrolman Stanley Balmer.

• Saul Espinoza, 32, of Elizabeth, was arrested in the area of Bank Street on March 13 and charged with hindering apprehension and contempt of court by Patrolman Stanley Balmer.

• James Siegel, 48, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Washington Street on March 10 and charged with aggravated assault by Patrolman Ashon Lovick.

• Najahee Tyler, 25, of Asbury Park, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on March 7 and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Garrett Falco.

• Theodore Knowles, 33, of Shrewsbury, was arrested in the area of Maple Avenue on March 6 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Tanner Shea.

• Miguel Rivas-Beltran, 21, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on March 6 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Darren M. McConnell.

• Christian Castillo-Angulo, 37, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on March 3 and charged with simple assault and criminal mischief by Patrolman Jhonathan Quispe.

** Police reported seven arrests solely on contempt of court warrants.**
