Police Report: Drug Possession, DWI, Theft, Theft by Deception

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• A theft in the area of Trafford Street was reported on April 5. The victim reported that property was stolen by an unknown person.

Patrolman Joseph Barnicle is investigating.

• There was a report of theft by deception in the area of Broad Street on April 5. The victim reported paying for merchandise valued at $1,530 that was never received.

Sgt. Matthew Clark is investigating.

• A theft in the area of East End Avenue was reported on April 2. The victim reported that property was stolen.

Patrolman Joseph Barnicle is investigating.

• A theft in the area of Yale Boulevard was reported on April 2. The victim reported that someone stole property.

• A theft in the area of East End Avenue was reported on April 2. The victim reported that someone made unauthorized withdrawals totaling $468.88.

Arrests

• Saeeda K. Wilson, 40, of Neptune, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on April 4 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Sgt. Matthew Clark.

Lisa A. Yoo, 69, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on March 30 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Angel Marrero.

Patrick Gongora, 51, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Sunnybank Drive on March 30 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Tyler Fox.

** Police reported three arrests solely on contempt of court warrants.**
