Police Report: Criminal Mischief, Drug Possession

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of criminal mischief in the area of Broad Street on March 17. The victim reported that property was damaged.

Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro is investigating.

Arrests

• Ryan E. Beattie, 26, of Red Bank, was arrested on March 21 in the area of Newman Springs Road and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.

• Ashley R. Dunn, 21, of the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on March 18 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

• Michelle Villalba, 22, of Ridgefield, was arrested on March 11 in the area of Broad Street and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Sgt. Jessica Boyd.

Contempt of Court 

• Daniel S. Diaz, 27, of Union Beach, was arrested on March 22 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Derek Myers.

• Kevin L. Cassaro, 27, of Beachwood, was arrested on March 19 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Jay V. Newcomb, 67, of Deal, was arrested on March 17 in the area of Broad Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• James A. Walls, 30, of Neptune, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on March 12 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Angel Marrero.

• Schuyler D. Holman, 28, of Jersey City, was arrested on March 10 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant in the area of Broad Street by Sgt. Jessica Boyd.
