Police Report: Criminal Mischief, Credit Card Fraud, Shoplifting & Contempt

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a  report of criminal mischief in the area of Broad Street on May 27. The victim reported that someone vandalized their vehicle.

Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.

• There was a report of theft by deception in the area of White Road on May 29. The victim reported that an unauthorized person used their credit card numbers to make $433.82 worth of fraudulent purchases.

Patrolman Matthew Clark is investigating.

• There was a report of the shoplifting of $1,235.81 worth of merchandise from Marshall’s on Broad Street on June 1.

Patrolman Tyler Fox is investigating.

Contempt of Court Arrests

• Ellis Billingsley, 49, of Freehold, was arrested on May 28 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

• Darrand L. Royles, 50, of Englishtown, was arrested on May 28 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

• Ebed Rincon, 21, of Ocean, was arrested on May 29 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant in the area of Sycamore Avenue by Patrolman Tyler Fox.
