Here comes the rain again.
And along with the dank weather comes daydreams of some sun and fun in the form of a good road trip.
So, the Retro Pic of the Day pays ode to being on the road with high school friends and a lot of good times.
A sunny day it was back in the late 1970s when this crew of day trippers got to borrow one Rumson dad’s Winnebago and take off on a little adventure.

Donning down and ski jackets, this crew was always ready to catch a wave — of fun in one way or another.
Know them? Of course, you do.
Thanks again to George Day for providing this original photo from the archives of the RFH yearbook.
We welcome any Retro Pic of the Day contributions from further retro eras or more recent times. Just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your photos and proper credit. Thanks and enjoy!
