Police Report: Theft & Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• The theft of a bicycle valued at $1,000 that was chained to a pole in front of a Monmouth Street business was reported on Sept. 16.

Patrolman Milton Gray IV took the report.

• There was a report of a theft on Sept. 15. The victim reported that she left her purse while shopping at a business located on Broad Street and the purse, containing $10 in cash was stolen by an unidentified female.

Sgt. Joey Fields took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported on Sept. 15. The victim reported that damage had been caused to several windows of a vacant residence on East Bergen Place. No entry appeared to have been gained.

Patrolman Sean Hauschildt took the report.

• The theft of approximately 13 checks totaling $1,021 from an unsecured Broad Street apartment was reported on Sept. 9.

Patrolman David Smith took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported on Sept. 4. The victim reported damage to her vehicle which was parked on Drummond Avenue. The vehicle was reportedly scratched with a sharp object by a male subject known to the victim.

Patrolman Nicholas Maletto took the report.

• There was a report of a theft on Aug. 31. The victim reported that Jewelry valued at approximately $150 and $100 in cash were stolen from her W. Sunset Avenue home by people visiting the residence.

Patrolman Stanley Balmer took the report.

• There was a report of criminal mischief on Aug. 29. The victim reported that someone had shattered the windshield of her vehicle that had been parked on Chestnut Street causing damages in excess of $300.
