Police Report: Megan’s Law Violations, Heroin Possession, DWIs

The following recent arrests were made and reported by Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Thomas Earls, 55, of Chadwell Court in Neptune, was arrested on Feb. 23 by Detective William Strohkirch and charged with burglary and theft.

He was held on $5,000 bail set by Judge James Berube.

• Delores Whitney, 36, of Center Avenue in Keansburg, was arrested on Feb. 24 by Patrolman Thomas Hughes and charged with shoplifting.

She was released pending a court date.

• Jeffrey Raymond, 24, of Claridge Drive in Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 24 by Detective Laurence Schachtel and charged with failing to register as required by Megan’s Law.

He was released on his own recognizance.

• Lauren Miller, 51, of West Front Street in Red Bank, was arrested on Feb. 24 by Detective Daniel Sullivan and charged with theft.

She was released pending a court date.

• Samuel Mueller, 36, of Belleview Avenue in Keansburg, was arrested on Feb. 24 by Detective Laurence Schachtel and charged with failing to change address as required by Megan’s Law.

He was released on his own recognizance.

• Dennis Davidson, 60, of Summerfield Court in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 25 by Police Officer Tara Stucy and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

• Prudveen Venula, 29, of Knollwood Drive in Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 25 by Patrolman Brian McGrogan and charged with simple assault.

He was released on his own recognizance.

• Joshua Doran, 28, of Michelle Drive in Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 25 by Sgt. Joseph Glynn and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of Zolpidem.

He was held on $30,000 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge James Berube.

• Peter Discenza, 24, of Dogwood Lane in Hazlet, was arrested on Feb. 25 by Detective Albert Scott and charged with forgery and theft.

He was released pending a court date.

• JonPaul Dorney, 19, of Sophia Court in Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 26 by Patrolman Savvas Roumeliotis and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

• Richard Taggart, 21, of Pebblestone Lane in Hamburg, was arrested on Feb. 27 by Cpl. James Keenan and charged with defiant trespass and obstructing the administration of law.

He was released pending a court date.

• Trevor Pituk, 28, of Center Avenue in the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 27 by Patrolman Eric Van Schaack and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

• Cyrus Razani, 82, of Warburton Avenue in Yonkers, NY, was arrested on Feb. 28 by Patrolman Jesse Toma and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

• Paul Koziol, 60, of Long Branch Avenue in Long Branch, was arrested on Feb. 29 by Patrolman Thomas Foster and charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated (DWI) and obstructing the administration of law.

He was held on $3,000 bail, set by Judge James Berube.

• Jessie Carrdine, 21, of Phalanx Road in the Lincroft section of Middletown, was arrested on March 1 by Corporal Joseph Ahlemeyer on a violation of probation warrant.

She was held pending a court date.

• Marissa Brennan, 37, of Park Avenue in Union Beach, was arrested on March 1 by Patrolman Ekne Montalvo and charged with simple assault and obstructing the administration of law.

She was held on $1,000 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge James Berube.

• Warren Wharton, 26, of Thousand Oaks Drive in Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on March 2 by Patrolman Jason Andrews and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

• Kerry McMackin, 36, of Beaman Boulevard in Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on March 2 by Patrolman Ricardo Cruz and charged with violating conditions of parole.

She was held pending a court date.

• Alexandria Lowe, 26, of Center Avenue in Highlands, was arrested on March 2 by Detective Keith Hirschbein and charged with forgery.

She was released after posting $2,500 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge James Berube.

• Ashley Papa, 24, of Chapel Hill Road in Red Bank, was arrested on March 2 by Corporal Darrin Simon and charged with possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic syringe and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance.

She was released pending a court date.
