Rumson Police Report: Receiving Stolen Property, DUI & More

The following arrests were made in December and January and reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

  • Tommy Earls, 55, of Neptune, was arrested by Detective Sgt. Christopher Isherwood on Jan. 28 and charged with receiving stolen property.

Earls was held on bail was set at $25,000 with no 10 percent option, set by Judge James Berube, Jr. JMC.

  • Valerie Valentini, 59, of Long Branch, was arrested on Dec. 16 by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli on a contempt of court (COC) warrant.

She was released after posting $391 bail.

  • Anthony Rizzica, 44, of Staten Island, NY was arrested  by Special Officer Michael Berger on Dec. 20 and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) following a motor vehicle accident at Rumson Road and Sailors Way.

He was released pending a court date.

  • Lisa Latourette-Persha, 40, of Highlands, was arrested on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Special Officer Michael Berger on Dec. 29.

She was released after posting $240 bail.

  • Lea Brantly, 31, of Rumson, was arrested on Dec. 30 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

She was released after posting $250 bail.

  • Kerri Burton, 44, of Union Beach, was arrested on Jan. 3 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman James Fenn.

She was released after posting $500 bail.

  • Karen Lastorino, 38, of Rumson, was arrested on Jan. 12 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

She was released after posting $164 bail.
