Police Report: Theft, Criminal Mischief, Marijuana Possession

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• A theft was reported to have occurred Nov. 10 the Salvation Army on Newman Springs Road. The victim reported that someone stole a bike rack off a parked vehicle in the lot. Patrolman Benjamin Springer took the report.

• A theft was reported to have occurred on Nov. 11 at the Red Bank Train Station. The victim reported that he sat down on a bench and fell asleep and when he awakened, his blue nylon computer briefcase, containing a wallet, lap top computer fan and charger, was missing.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred on Nov. 14 in a Monmouth Street parking lot. The victim reported that someone smashed the passenger side window of a parked vehicle.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a Broad Street apartment building on Nov. 14. A resident reported that someone stole furniture — a wicker chair and coffee table that were part of a display — from the hallway.

• A theft was reported to have occurred on Nov. 14 at a Morford Place residence. The victim reported that someone removed a cushion from outdoor furniture that was on the porch.

Patrolman Jonatan Quispe took the report.

• A theft was reported to have occurred on Nov. 16 at a Bank Street residence. The victim reported that two unknown males took two air conditioning units, loaded them onto a truck and drove away. The units had been sitting on the front porch pending storage by the owner.

Arrests

• Mary Wyville, 60, of Tinton Falls, was arrested on Nov. 16 in the area of Monmouth Street and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstruction of the administration of law by Patrolman Jonatan Quispe.

• Bryan Olivares, 21, of Parlin, was arrested on Nov. 15 in the area of Broad Street and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Tanner Shea.

• Marchelle Richardson, 22, of Red Bank, was arrested on Nov. 15 in the area of Locust Avenue and charged with possession of a CDS, under 50 grams of marijuana, by  Sgt. David Hicks.

• Jahki Dotts, 18, of Red Bank, was arrested on Nov. 15 in the area of Locust Avenue and charged with possession of a CDS, under 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman George Travostino.

• Sarah Newell, 22, of the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on Nov. 15  in the area of E. Front Street and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Kristin Altimari.

• Kenneth Persico, 48, of Middletown, was arrested on Nov. 14 in the area of Monmouth Street and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Tanner Shea.
