Police Report Theft Incidents & Arrests

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Acme in the Shrewsbury Plaza on Oct. 23. The victim reported that his wallet was stolen while he was shopping the night before.

Patrolman Ryan Cullinane is investigating.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Marshalls in the Shrewsbury Plaza on Oct. 23. The victim reported that proceeds totaling $946.79 were taken by three males.

Patrolman Matthew Clark is investigating.

 

Arrests

• Kenneth Persico, 48, of Kenasburg, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Plaza on Oct. 23 and charged with theft by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

Contempt of Court

• Alyssia Bellamy, 27, of Sayreville, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant on Oct. 30 in the area of Broad Street by Sgt. Jessica Boyd.

• Tyrone Whitley, 35, of Asbury Park, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant on Oct. 30 in the area of Broad Street by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.

• Michael Warner, 20, of Neptune, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane in the area of Broad Street on Oct. 27.

• Lanny McCall Jr., 22, of Long Branch, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant by Sgt. Adam Cerminaro in the area of Broad Street on Oct. 24.
