The Rumson, Fair Haven and Rumson-Fair Haven Board of Ed Ballots

Voters are going to the polls today to decide who is returning to the Board of Education dais in each of three school districts between Rumson and Fair Haven.

Each of the nine-member boards in the Rumson, Fair Haven and Rumson-Fair Haven districts has seats up for grabs.

Here’s what to expect at the polls:

Rumson

Three incumbent candidates are running unopposed for three seats on the nine-member board.

They are: Charles H. Jones, Board Vice President Margaret Kaminski Simons, and John Connors.

Fair Haven

There are five vying for three board seats. The terms of Board President Mark Mancuso and members Randi Walker and Bennett Coleman are up.

Walker is not seeking election to an additional term.

Mancuso and Coleman are aiming for re-election. Newcomers to the race are Michelle Buckley, Charlie Jakub and Marisa Coar.

Voters are asked to pick three of the five.

Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School

Two candidates are running unopposed for three seats on the nine-member board.

Incumbents Lourdes Lucas and Sarah Maris (both representing Fair Haven on the regional board) are seeking re-election.

Teresa Liccardi, M.D., Rumson representative, is not seeking re-election.

The polls are open at the usual polling places until 8 p.m.
