Police Nab Alleged Bank Robber, Stalker, Burglar

The following recent arrests were  made and reported by Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• William Baner, 32, of Main Street in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 12 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a hypodermic syringe.

He was released after posting $12,500 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Christopher Gaul, 31, of Main Street in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 12 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released after posting $12,500 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Cameron Wood, 20, of Bay Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on Oct. 13 by Patrolman Jesse Toma and charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing the administration of law and eluding arrest.

He was held on $27,500 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• George Mercado, 39, of Brighton Avenue in Staten Island, NY, was arrested on Oct.12 by Patrolman Richard Belmonte and charged with obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest.

He was held on $5,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Kenneth Persico, 48, of Forest Avenue in Keansburg, was arrested on Oct. 11 by Patrolman Nicholas Fenezia and charged with disorderly conduct.

He was released pending a court date.

• Pasquale Montefinese, 31, of Melissa Lane in Howell, was arrested on Oct. 9 by Detective Daniel Sullivan and charged with bank robbery.

He was held on $100,000 bail, set by Judge Leslie-Ann Justus of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

• Sheila Rosant, 44, of Washington Street in Long Branch, was arrested on Oct. 9 by Detective Keith Hirschbein and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and on contempt of court warrants issued by the Neptune, Tinton Falls and Halzet municipal courts.

She was held on $12,453 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Anthony Digeso, 59, of Route 36 in the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 9 by Detective Daniel Sullivan and charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was held on $15,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Keith Johnson, 23, of Chapel Hill Road in Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on Oct. 8 by Detective Albert Scott and charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

He was held on $22,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Scott Horst, 36, of Ralph Street in Belleville, was arrested on Oct. 7 by Patrolman Kent Thornton and charged with harassment, violation of a court order, stalking, and theft.

He was held on $57,000 bail, set by Judge Justus of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

• Patrick Carroll, 19, of Bucknell Drive in Hazlet, was arrested on Oct. 3 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield and charged with lewdness.

He was released pending a court date.

• Robert Huston, 33, of Thomas Avenue in Shrewsbury, was arrested on Oct. 3 by Patrolman Jesse Toma and charged with disorderly conduct.

He was released pending a court date.

• Michelle Zahner, 34, of Snyder Lane in Keyport, was arrested on Oct. 4 by Patrolman Kent Thornton and charged with shoplifting.

She was released pending a court date.

• Scott Horst, 36, of Ralph Street in Belleville, was arrested on Oct. 4 by Patrolman Thomas Hughes and charged with violation of a court order.

He was held on $2,500 bail, set by Judge Bauman of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

 

• Brian Hilliard, 34, of Gettysburg Lane in Holmdel, was arrested on Oct. 2 by Detective Anthony Dellatacoma and charged with shoplifting.

He was released pending a court date.

• Brianna Kiernan, 22, of Garfield Avenue in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 3 by Patrolman Brenden Santiago and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

She was released pending a court date.

• Robert Black, 39, of Stephenville Road in Red Bank, was arrested on Oct. 6 by Patrolman Patrick Leonard and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

• John Tanchack, 18, of Woodhull Avenue in Red Bank, was arrested on Oct. 6 by Patrolman Christopher Dee and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

 

• Joseph Hudson, 46, of Hamilton Avenue in the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 8 by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood and charged with simple assault.

He was released after posting $1,000 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

 

• Carmen Centimoli, 70, of Ocean Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 9 by Patrolman Greg Buhowski and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

 

 

• Michael Seeley, 44, of Beverly Road in Forked River, was arrested on Oct. 11 by Patrolman John Walsifer and charged with violation of a court order.

He was held on $1,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Macarena Maldonado-Lopez, 26, of Thousand Oaks Drive in Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on Oct. 10 by Police Officer Larisa Doriety and charged with disorderly conduct.

She was released pending a court date.

• Ashley Papa, 24, of Chapel Hill Road in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 12 by Patrolman Kent Thornton and charged with violation of a court order.

She was held pending a court date.
