Police Report Burglary, Theft, Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported on Aug. 28 at a Chestnut Street residence. The victim reported that someone damaged a front door handle.

• A burglary was reported to have occurred on Aug. 30 at a West Sunset Avenue residence. Someone reportedly entered the residence and stole cash.

Patrolman Ashon Lovick took the report.

• A theft was reported to have occurred on Aug. 30 at Riverside Gardens Park. The victim reported that while at the park, someone stole his iPod.

Patrolman Jorge Torres took the report.

• A theft was reported to have occurred sometime between Aug. 27 and Sept. 1 at the Morford Place apartment building. Someone reportedly stole 182 feet of anodized steel railing valued at $10,000 from a job site where the building in being renovated.

Patrolman Michael Zadlock took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief and attempted burglary was reported to have occurred on Sept. 5 at a Spring Street apartment. Victims reported hearing a loud noise in the area of a window. Upon, inspection, police observed that the air conditioning unit had been torn from the window and thrown to the ground. The window was damaged in the process. Someone was seen running from the scene.

• A theft was reported to have occurred on Sept. 5 at Molly Pitcher Village. The victim reported that someone stole several tools from a parked work truck.

• An incident of criminal mischief occurred at Count Basie Park on Sept. 8. There was a report of an unknown person(s) damaging the door to the concession stand and a park bench.
