A reprise from 2015, just because a great way to kick off a spring weekend is with a toasty memory of some 70s RFHers bonding over a casual game of catch and lifetime friendship …

Bases are loaded and spring has officially sprung. And there’s nothing like heeding to a little spring fever on the ball field. The season’s right, after all.

No time like, well, 40 or so years ago for a little impromptu game under the bright sun with some RFH pals who knew what playing the RFH field meant.

So, what better Retro Pic of the (George) Day than a shot of a few RFH grads playing ball on what looks like a home run of a spring day back in the 1970s?

These guys were quite popular back in the day. And, RFH grad George Day captured them playing ball somewhere in Rumson.

We know who they are. Do you? We lost one. RIP, Kevin Reed (left). But the good times and friendships are far from forgotten. Remember? Notice the absence of electronics. Did you play a game of catch in your spare time? Caption this one …

And, thanks again George Day for this and so many other fabulous photos!
