Police Report: Robbery, Burglary, Theft, harassment, Weapons, Marijuana, Assault, DWI

The following September criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• The theft of a silver GT mountain bike, valued at $1,100, from the rear garage of a property in the area of Broad Street was reported on Sept. 24.

Patrolman Jhonathan Quispe took the report.

• The theft of $145 in cash, two payroll checks and six other checks from a vehicle parked in the area of Maple Avenue was reported on Sept. 18.

Patrolman Frank Metta took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Marine Park was reported on Sept. 16. Borough property was damaged. A piece of wooden trim connected to a padlock was removed from a shed.

Patrolman Sean Hauschildt took the report.

• The theft of a front license plate from a vehicle on a parked car in the area of Earl Street was reported on Sept. 11.

Patrolman Darren M. McConnell took the report.

• The theft of a checkbook and a teal HP Pavilion G6 laptop, valued at $800, with a flower pattern and clear tape on the bottom (holding the battery in place) was reported stolen from an estate sale on Peter’s Pace on Sept. 7.

Patrolman Gary Watson took the report.

• The theft from a firehouse on Drummond Street of a portable Honda 2000 gas-powered generator, valued at $1,100, and a vintage fireman’s helmet, valued at $500, was reported on Sept. 6.

• An incident of criminal mischief at a car dealership on Newman Springs Road on Sept. 5. Four new vehicles were reportedly keyed in the parking lot leaving scratches on the driver’s side fenders, doors and passenger side doors.

Arrests

• Kenneth Persico, 52, of the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Sept. 30 and charged with harassment and criminal mischief by Sgt. Heather Pubylski.

• Leroy Thomas, 38, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Tilton Avenue on Sept. 26 and charged with possession of marijuana by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt.

• Amilcar Rivera, 31, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Catherine Street on Sept. 26 and charged with resisting arrest, obstructing the administration of law and possession of marijuana by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt.

• Mariano Codallos-Tepepa, 18, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Sept. 25 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) and under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Luke Cahill.

• Gina Fontanetta, 33, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Elm Place on Sept. 25 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Frank Metta.

• Matthew Lorenzo, 31, of Park Ridge, was arrested in the area of Riverside Avenue on Sept. 21 and charged with possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct by Patrolman Stanley Balmer.

• Oswaldo Hernandez-Lopez, 25, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Sept. 21 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), assault by auto and contempt of court by Patrolman Darren M. McConnell.

• Arthur Deeken, 37, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Sept. 17 and charged with contempt and possession to distribute a syringe by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt.

• Vincent Fasano, 21, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Linden Place on Sept. 16 and charged with burglary, theft, simple assault, obstructing the administration of law and disorderly conduct by Patrolman Shane Dengel.

• Rolando Hernandez-Martinez, 20, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Leighton Avenue on Sept. 16 and charged with possession of marijuana by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt.

• Tim Jackson, 25, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Linden Place on Sept. 14 and charged with simple assault, obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest by Patrolman Shane Dengel.

• Thomas Acerra, 28, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Sept. 14 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Piero Vescio.

• Ivan Crespo, 29, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Leighton Avenue on Sept. 14 and charged with obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest by force by Patrolman Frank Metta.

• Stephen Kelly, 43, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Sept. 14 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Piero Vescio.

• Moses Birch, 22, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Linden Place on Sept. 13 and charged with possession of marijuana by Patrolman Piero Vescio.

• Hector Reyes, 21, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Sept. 13 and charged with robbery and possession of a weapon with unlawful purpose by Detective John Camarca.

• Jonathan Scott, 22, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Tilton Avenue on Sept. 12 and charged with robbery, possession of a weapon with unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of weapons by Detective John Camarca.

• Jason Scott, 19, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Tilton Avenue on Sept. 12 and charged with robbery, possession of a weapon with unlawful purpose by Detective John Camarca.

• Jose Tochihuitl-Vera, 20, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Monmouth street on Sept. 12 and charged with robbery and possession of a weapon with unlawful purpose by Patrolman Luke Cahill.

• Fenton Barnes, 34, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of River Street on Sept. 10 and charged with criminal mischief by Patrolman Milton Gray IV.

• Elise Brown, 44, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Spring Street on Sept. 10 and charged with obstructing administration of the law by Patrolman Kristin Altimari.

• Tunell Polk, 32, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Sept. 8 and charged with possession of marijuana by Patrolman Stanley Balmer.

• Jose Tochihuitl-Vera, 20, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of West Bergen Place on Sept. 2 an charged with unlawful possession of weapons and possession of marijuana by Patrolman Luke Cahill.
