Prosecutor: Authorities Seek Help in Shooting Investigation

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a shooter and circumstances surrounding a Monday evening incident in Neptune that left one person injured, Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office detectives announced.

On Monday evening at 6:02 p.m. Neptune police were called to the scene of a shooting incident at the intersection of Oxonia and Monroe avenues in the township, authorities said.

One male victim was found suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

The investigation is active and ongoing. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, authorities ask that you call Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Keith Finkelstein at 800-533-7443 or Detective Kaan Williams at 732-988-8000 of Neptune Township PD.
