Prosecutor: Monmouth Man Arrested on Child Porn Charges

A Monmouth County man has been arrested and charged with distribution of child sexual assault images, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni announced.

Eton Ronberg, 49, of Canvasback Road in Manalapan, was charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child for distribution of child pornography and one count of endangering the welfare of a child for possession of child pornography.

After a month-long investigation into an individual distributing child sexual assault images in Manalapan, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children’s Task Force arrested Ronberg on Aug. 23 at his place of employment.

On Aug. 24, 2019, Ronberg had his initial appearance in court and was released on pre-trial services pending the resolution of the charges.

If convicted of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child for distribution of child pornography, Ronberg faces up to 10 years in a NJ state prison, Megan’s Law registration and parole supervision for life.
