The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• A burglary in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue was reported on April 30. The victim reported that an unknown person (or people) stole property.

Patrolman Derek Myers is investigating.

Arrests

Michael J. Coffey, 34, of the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on May 3 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Tyler Fox.

Kenneth N. Martau, 57, of Little Silver, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on May 2 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Sgt. Matthew Clark.
