Fair Haven Police: Two Arrested in Connection with Home Burglary

Fair Haven police have arrested two people in connection with a home burglary that took place on March 4 in Fair Haven.

The two, Michael Daurotorio, of Toms River, and Jeffery Smith, of Manchester, allegedly broke into a home and stole various items.

For the Fair Haven incident, they were charged with criminal trespass, burglary and theft. They are both being held in Monmouth and Ocean County correctional facilities.

Fair Haven Detective Dwayne Reevey conducted the investigation in the borough.

Dautorio and Smith also allegedly committed burglaries in Little Silver and Marlboro. The charges in the two towns have not yet been disclosed.
