Prosecutor: Two Teens Arrested on Charges Related to Infant’s Death

Two teens have been arrested and charged in connection with an infanticide in Neptune, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni announced on Friday.

One, Jada M. McClain, 18, of Neptune Township, was charged with first-degree murder and second-degree disturbing or desecrating human remains. The other, Quaimere Mohammed, 19, of Asbury Park, was charged with second-degree disturbing or desecrating human remains.

An investigation is still active and ongoing at this time. McClain and Mohammed are currently being held in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold Township, pending an initial appearance.
