Prosecutor: Pedestrian Dies from Injuries Sustained in Accident

A 64-year-old man has died as a result of being struck by a motor vehicle on Dec. 6 in Freehold, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni announced.

Kevin McMillen, 64, of Union Beach, was walking on County Route 537 in the area of State Highway 33 in Freehold at approximately 5:41 p.m. last Thursday evening when he was struck in the westbound lane by a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by Andrea Glazewski, 43, of Farmingdale.

The victim was pronounced dead at 6:10 pm.

The driver was uninjured in the collision.

No charges were filed in the matter.

The crash was investigated by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART), and Freehold Township Police Department.
