Police Report: Theft, Fraud, Shoplifting

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of fraud in the area of Blades Run Drive on Nov. 29. The victim reported that edit card information was used to make unauthorized purchases totaling $463.75.

Patrolman Kyle Ludwig is investigating.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Nov. 21. The victim reported that merchandise valued at $230 was stolen.

Sgt. Tracy Polk is investigating.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Nov. 21. The victim reported that $79.41 worth of merchandise was stolen.

Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.

Arrests
• Wendy S. Lichtig, 50, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Nov. 28 and charged with shoplifting by Patrolman Kyle Ludwig.

** Police reported two arrests on contempt of court warrants. **
