Police Report: Vehicle Theft, Burglary, DWI, Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of a burglary in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Aug. 25. It was reported that an unknown person or people gained access to a business and removed proceeds. Damages were valued at $400.

Patrolman Joseph Barnicle is investigating.

• There was a report of a vehicle burglary in the area of Shadowbrook Road on Aug. 25. The victims reports that property was stolen from several vehicles.

• There was a report of criminal mischief in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Aug. 25. The victim reported that the building was vandalized.

Patrolman Tyler Fox is investigating.

• A vehicle theft in the area of Dorchester Way was reported on Aug. 25. The victim reported that the vehicle, valued at $15,000, was stolen from the driveway.

Arrests

• Paul I. Dolgin, 30, of Manalapan, was arrested in the area of Newman Springs Road on Aug. 31 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Sgt. Matthew Clark.

** Two arrests on contempt of court warrants were reported.**
