Police Report: Theft & Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• An incident of theft in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue was reported on Jan. 30. It was reported that two bikes — one black and one blue mountain bike, each valued at $50 — were stolen.

• An incident of theft in the area of West Bergen Place was reported on Jan. 26. It was reported that a license plate was stolen from a parked vehicle.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Warf Avenue/Marine Park was reported on Jan. 22. Graffiti in white ink was scrolled the men’s bathroom.

SLEO Tony Ardon took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Marine Park was reported on Jan. 22. It was reported that a boat basin, valued at roughly $8,000, was kicked over and broken.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Evergreen Terrace was reported on Jan. 22. It was reported that a parked vehicle’s front passenger side window and sideview mirror were broken.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Catherine Street on Jan. 20. It was reported that a parked vehicle was broken into and a pair of blue sunglasses, valued at $200, were stolen.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Marine Park was reported on Jan. 18. It was reported that two white lighthouse power/water stations were broken and thrown into the water, and two gray plastic borough garbage cans were thrown into the water. Two swastikas were also drawn on top of the snow and ice in the water. Each power station is valued at $8,000, and the garbage cans are valued at roughly $30 each.
