Police Report: Theft & Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:• There was a report of a theft from an unlocked vehicle on Mechanic Street on Oct. 14. Reported stolen were: $4 in cash, $200 worth of clothing and $50 worth of office supplies.

• There was a report of a theft from inside a business on Monmouth Street on Oct. 13. It was reported that a black wristlet containing a NJ license, PNC Bank debit card, three keys and $30 in cash was stolen.

• There was a report of criminal mischief in the area of Maple Avenue on Oct. 13. Security cameras showed two white males — one wearing gray hooded sweat-shirt and black shorts and sneakers, and the other wearing blue jeans, gray t-shirt and a black baseball cap —  damaging new concrete that was poured. The cost to repair the concrete is estimated at $1,500.

• There was a report of an incident of criminal mischief in the area of North Bridge Avenue on Oct. 11. A white male, 25 to 35 years old, with dark hair and a goatee reportedly jumped on the trunk of a vehicle creating a dent after he asked for money and was turned away.

• There was a report of a theft from a Monmouth Street business on Oct. 3. It was reported that a white female wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, yellow pants and dark sunglasses took four cans of Enfamil baby formula valued at $95.96.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of East Newman Springs Road on Oct. 2. It was reported that a business was missing $5,000 in cash from a safe.
