Memorial Services Set for Lifetime Fair Havenite John R. Choma Jr., 35

Lifetime Fair Havenite John R. Choma Jr. passed away on Sept. 28; and memorial services begin today, Sunday. He was 35.

Born to John R. Choma Sr. and Lorraine K. Choma, John was a lifelong resident of Fair Haven.  He was employed by the maintenance department of the Middletown Township Board of Education.

John is predeceased by: his grandparents John Choma, Leslie Peter Stout Sr., and Kathleen Stout, and his step-grandmother, Georgia Stout. He is survived by: his parents, father John R. Sr. and mother Lorraine; his brother, Raymond M. Choma, of Middletown; his paternal grandmother, Jeannette A. Choma; his uncle, Andrew B. Choma and wife Diane; his aunts, Katherine M. Maselli (and husband Victor), and Shirley A. Jenkins; and his cousins, Bryan and Jason Choma, Victor Maselli, Sharon A. Jenkins, Donna Diodato, Patty Martinsen and Jeanine Stout-Laboy.

Visitation is set for Sunday, Oct. 1, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank.

A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 2 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
