Police Report: Identity Theft, CDS Possession

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of identity theft in the area of Buttonwood Drive on July 25. The victim reported that someone opened fraudulent accounts.

Patrolman Angel Marrero is investigating.

 Arrests
• Luis C. Salcedo, 23, of Elizabeth, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on July 23 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
Contempt of Court

• Thomas L. Armstrong, 35, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on July 28 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant Sgt. Adam Cerminaro.  

• Patrick J. O’Boyle, 60, of Bayonne, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on July 25 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Kyle Ludwig.

• Briana N. Huss, 24, of Forked River, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on July 23 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Sgt. Tracy Polk.

• Joshua M. Mogene, 31, of Linden, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on July 21 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.
