Police Report: Theft, Marijuana, Assault, Contempt

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of a theft on June 5 in the area of Monmouth Street. An unknown black male reported took a tip jar, described as clear with a red lid containing roughly $100, from a business.

Patrolman Jhonathan Quispe took the report.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on June 11. A bald black male, described to be in his early 40s, clean shaven, standing roughly six feet tall and wearing a white t-shirt and tan shorts was reportedly seen leaving a store without paying for an item.

 • There was a report of a theft on June 11 in the area of North Bridge Avenue. It was reported that a gold Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with a black/gray case valued at about $500 was stolen from a parked vehicle.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Throckmorton Avenue on June 11. It was reported that an orange cone with two horizontal white reflective stripes and numbers stenciled in black, valued at $25, was taken from the apron of a driveway.

Arrests

• Anthony Decristofaro, 29, of Shrewsbury, was arrested on June 8 in the area of Maple Avenue and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana by Patrolman Kristin Altimari.

• Sean Penn, 35, of Edison, was arrested on June 7 in the area of Broad Street and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana by Patrolman Michael Baron.

• Edmundo Perez-Villegas, 31, of Red Bank, was arrested on June 2 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt.

Contempt of Court

• Christopher Rovinsky, 31, of Red Bank, was arrested on June 13 in the area of Monmouth Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Darren M. McConnell.

• Marc Pines, 43, of Red Bank, was arrested on June 13 in the area of West Bergen Place on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Michael Baron.

• Taheem Lane, 20, of Tinton Falls, was arrested on June 13 in the area of East Newman Springs Road on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Michael Baron.  

• Byron Carroll, 33, of Asbury Park, was arrested on June 12 in the area of North Bridge Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Darren M. McConnell.

• Xaire Williams, 21, of Red Bank, was arrested on June 12 in the area of Monmouth Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Ashon Lovick.

• Eleazar Aguirre-Salazar, 26, of Red Bank, was arrested on June 11 in the area of North Bridge Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt.

• Salvador Carranza-Monges, 26, of Long Branch, was arrested on June 11 in the area of Monmouth Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt.

• Michael Stavola, 60, of Red Bank, was arrested on June 11 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Cevin Albert.

• Virginia Stroby, 29, of Red Bank, was arrested on June 10 in the area of Chestnut Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Cevin Albert.  

• Kyree Farrow, 20, of Red Bank, was arrested on June 9 in the area of Monmouth Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Michael Baron.

• Michele Searight-Makason, 42, of Tinton Falls, was arrested on June 9 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Jhonathan Quispe.

• Mark Degenito, 55, of Red Bank, was arrested on June 8 in the area of Chestnut Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Darren McConnell.

• Destiny Filippi, 19, of Ocean, was arrested on June 7 in the area of Monmouth Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Darren McConnell.
