Police Report: Theft, Burglary, Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of a burglary from a vehicle in the area of Marc Court on June 2. The victim reported that someone removed property from an unlocked vehicle. Patrolman Ryan Cullinane is investigating.

• There was a report of a theft and criminal mischief in the area of Samara Drive on May 24. The victim reported that someone removed and damaged property valued at $9,000. Patrolman Mary Ellen Rumola is investigating.

Arrests

• Marcellin J. Goddard, 33, of Asbury Park, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on May 20 and charged with shoplifting and contempt of court by Sgt. Jessica Boyd.

Contempt of Court

• Kim B. Lelchuk, 66, of Ocean Grove, was arrested on May 31 in the area of Broad Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Angel Marrero.

• Laron D. Jowers, 34, of Eatontown, was arrested on May 28 in the area of Shrewsbury avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

• Hancy L. Henry, 33, of Long Branch, was arrested on May 28 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

• Louis T. Carter, 38, of Bradley Beach, was arrested on May 28 in the area of Siverbrook Road on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Tyler Fox.

• Cheri H. Weiss, 41, of Middletown, was arrested on May 27 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro.

• Lauren H. Young, 62, of Long Branch, was arrested on May 24 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Sgt. Jessica Boyd.

• Zahava K. Thaxton, 27, of Asbury Park, was arrested on May 24 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Angel Marrero.

• Myrna Santago, 46, of Wall, was arrested on May 24 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Sgt. Jessica Boyd.
