Police Report: Theft, Contempt

The following recent criminal incidents and contempt of court arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Broad Street on May 2. The victim reported that someone stole multiple checks, valued at $5,615, from a business and then proceeded to forge and cash them.

Detective Sgt. James Ramsey is investigating.

Contempt of Court

• Christopher R. Cornetto, 34, of Ocean Grove, was arrested on May 4 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

• Antonio R. Monaco, 37, of Union Beach, was arrested on May 4 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro.

• Louis Iannicelli, 46, of Toms River, was arrested on May 3 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

• Lori E. Winn, 47, of Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on May 2 in the area of Newman Springs Road on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Sgt. Adam Cerminaro.

• Marc D. Steinberg, 46, of Long Branch, was arrested on May 2 in the area of Broad Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.
