Police Report: Theft, Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported in the area of Washington Street on April 30. The rear window of a vehicle was smashed.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported in the area of Catherine Street on April 29. A vehicle reportedly had multiple key marks scratched into its hood and driver’s side.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Harrison Avenue on April 29. A package that contained two items valued at $98 was reportedly taken from the front porch of a residence.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Monmouth Street on April 27. A chained blue Schwinn Voyager bicycle, valued at $300, was reportedly stolen from a bicycle rack.

Patrolman George Travostino took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Broad Street was reported on April 27. It was reported that there was an attempt to force a door open at a business, leaving scratches around the door lock and a partially bent frame. Damages were estimated at $500.

Patrolman David Smith took the report.

• A theft was reported in the area of Broad Street on April 23. A black Louis Vuitton wallet with brown logos, valued at $800 and containing $200 in cash, credit cards and a NJ license, was taken from a table.
