There will be a DWI checkpoint in Monmouth County on Friday night, The Monmouth County DWI Task Force has announced.

At the Tinton Falls checkpoint, to be set up from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Hope Road in the Centre Plaza parking lot, vehicles will be funneled into the lot from southbound lanes on Hope.

Drivers will be checked for alcohol as well as drug impairment by task force members and Tinton Falls police.
