Police Report: Theft, DWI, Marijuana, Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• An incident of theft in the area of Maple Avenue was reported on March 12.  A  jacket, described as an electric blue North Face fleece,  was reportedly taken off the bleachers in the gym while the victim was playing basketball.

Patrolman Milton Gray IV took the report.

• A vehicle theft on Windward Way was reported on March 7. A gray 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from the driveway. The vehicle was left unlocked and contained several personal items.

• An incident of theft was reported in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on March 4. A casket cross, valued at $1,000 and a guest book, valued at $50 was stolen from a casket at a funeral home.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported in the area of Washington Street on March 1. The victim reported that a vehicle had words written in black ink on the driver’s side door and the driver’s side rear brake light was cracked.

Arrests

• Wilna Toussaint, 30, of Asbury Park, was arrested on March 13 in the area of Newman Springs Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto.

• Devin Bouton, 38, of Red Bank, was arrested on March 12 in the area of Riverside Avenue and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by OFC Darren McConnell.

• Kathleen Kerwin, 40, of Red Bank, was arrested on March 12 in the area of Maple Avenue and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Kristin Altimari.

• Charles Haas, 33, of Freehold, was arrested on March 11 in the area of N. Bridge Avenue and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Kristin Altimari.

• Daniel X. Jackson, 25, of Tinton Falls, was arrested on March 9 in the area of Newman Springs Road and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana by Patrolman Stanley Balmer.

• Dora Hollerbach, 20, of Red Bank, was arrested on March 7 in the area of E. Sunset Ave and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Benjamin Springer.

• Ralph Beese, 47, of Toms River, was arrested on March 7 in the area of Spring Street and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana by Patrolman Benjamin Springer.

• Domenic Imperato, 27, of Morganville, was arrested on March 5 in the area of W. Front Street and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Stanley Balmer.

• Anthony Destefano, 39, of Red Bank, was arrested on March 4 in the area of N. Bridge Avenue and charged with criminal mischief by Sgt. Heather Pubylski.

• Alex Berich, 28, of Red Bank, was arrested on March 2 in the area of Monmouth Street and charged with being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Benjamin Springer.
