It’s that time of the year when the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School Tower Singers sing — in concert.

In fact, the group has been featured at the Rumson tree lightings.

In our Retro Pic of the Day, we take you back to the 1970s when there were three choruses at RFH, each of which was quite large: the Freshman Chorus, Tower Singers and Tower Madrigals.

There was also an annual tradition wherein all groups would end the winter concert with the Hallelujah Chorus and invite alumni up to the stage to join in.  Remember?

Recognize any of these RFH singers?

Lighting Up the Holidays in Fair Haven

Remember the old Sunday night drive to check out all the Christmas lights when you were a kid?

Well, it doesn’t have to be a Sunday night. Any night is a good one for the drive around to look at the lights.

We took a little Monday night drive in Fair Haven. The only thing that was missing was the ol’ “Ooooo … ahhhh” and the backseat sibling quibbling to Dad’s, “Girls! If I have to pull this car over!”

This is what we saw. And it’s just a sampling. Fair Haven is quite festive. Rumson is next. And we’ll go back to both towns for that nighttime drive until Christmas.

Know of any great decorations? Let us know where they are. We’ll make sure everyone gets to take the drive with us.
